Faux fur is a complex material, and its richness demands real technical mastery. The balance of the weave, the density of the fiber, the precision of the cut: each step calls for a sure hand and an expert eye.

Here are our recommendations for preserving the quality and softness of your pieces over time. That said, we recommend having dry cleaning done by a professional.

Hand care:

1 — Briefly soak the affected area in lukewarm water with a mild soap, then rub gently to lift the stain. Never use fabric softener.

2 — Rinse the faux fur with clean water, always lukewarm.

3 — Do not wring. Lay the throw flat to dry without twisting the fabric.

4 — Once fully dry, shake lightly and gently brush the fur with a soft brush to restore its volume and softness. The throw regains all its original luster and hand feel.

Machine care:

Machine washing is possible if the product label allows it.

1 — Select a delicate, wool, or gentle cycle, at 30°C (86°F) maximum.

2 — Use a mild liquid detergent and never add fabric softener or bleach.

3 — Set a very gentle spin, between 400 and 600 rpm.

4 — Air-dry the throw flat. Once fully dry, shake lightly and gently brush the fur with a soft brush to restore its volume and softness.

We recommend storing your faux fur items in a closet away from light.

Keep them away from any heat source, do not iron them, and do not use steam.
